Qargo is seeking a Product Experience Tester in Ghent to bridge engineering and customers. You will manually test features during development from the perspective of a planner or invoicing clerk, ensuring flows make sense and work as intended.
You will collaborate with Product Owners and Engineering to flag unclear or broken areas, review error messages, and help improve the product using AI-assisted testing in a hybrid work setup with clear ownership and impact.
Qargo is a cloud-based (SaaS) Transport Management Platform. We are a scale-up based in London and Ghent (Belgium), rapidly expanding across Europe. The platform is an 'all-in-one system', handling everything from initial order entry to final invoicing. It optimises planning and has a built-in AI feature that automates lengthy manual tasks. Qargo is designed to help modern logistics operations run more efficiently, while increasing profitability and sustainability.
We're looking for a Product Experience Tester to join our Product team in Ghent. If you're looking to work in an international company in a role that offers autonomy, ownership and impact, this is the role for you!
As a Product Experience Tester at Qargo, you'll be the link between our engineering team and the people who actually use our platform every day. As engineering builds new features, our Product Owners don't always have the bandwidth to follow every feature from a true user perspective while it is being built and that's where you come in. Your primary focus will be manually testing new features while they are in development, from the perspective of how our customers actually work: walking through flows end-to-end, and asking the two questions that matter most: does this actually make sense to the person using it, and does it work the way it was meant to? You'll work closely with Product Owners and Engineering to flag what's confusing, broken, or unclear before a feature is released and our customers ever see it. This is not a product owner role, and it is not a technical QA role either: you won't write code or automated tests. The most technical part of the job is using AI to make our testing better. You'll spend most of your time in Qargo itself, going through a new feature the way a planner or an invoicing clerk would, and writing down exactly where it goes wrong or doesn't make sense.
