Jan De Nul Group is seeking a Procurement Engineer for Construction Projects. You will support centralized purchasing for multiple sites, handling procurement from sourcing to contract management and supplier performance evaluation.

The role is based in Hofstade/Aalst with hybrid work options and an emphasis on process discipline. You will contribute to clear price comparisons, supplier selection, and contract preparation, while aligning with our broader civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree and is keen on our projects.
• Technical background or willingness to immerse in this field.
• Procurement experience for buildings/infrastructure is an advantage but not required.
• Strong communication, initiative, and teamwork.
• Ability to work under pressure, be a problem-solver, and focus on results.
• Proven negotiation skills and market knowledge.
• Based at Hofstade/Aalst with site-based flexibility.

Responsabilités

• Study and manage multiple procurement files.
• Issue competitions clearly and purposefully.
• Follow up and analyze supplier offers.
• Construct and negotiate framework contracts.
• Prepare price comparison tables for best cost/benefit analysis.
• Justify supplier/subcontractor choices and manage contracts from initiation to evaluation.
• Ensure implementation and evaluation of procurement processes.
• Travel to construction sites when needed.
