Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to provide operational and administrative support within the purchasing department, ensuring procurement timelines are met and projects run smoothly.

You will manage purchase orders and contracts in SAP, assist internal customers and suppliers via SAP and Ariba, and help prepare project documentation and training materials. Fluent English plus French or Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or administrative field.
• Solid understanding of the purchasing process and procurement workflows.
• Experience with SAP MM and Microsoft Office.
• Proactive, autonomous, analytical and well organized.
• Fluent in English with French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Handle administrative tasks within the purchasing department and ensure procurement timelines.
• Manage the creation and modification of purchase orders and contracts within SAP.
• Support internal customers and suppliers with procurement queries via SAP and the Ariba network.
• Coordinate project activities, track progress against deadlines, and maintain project documentation.
• Prepare project demonstrations and develop training materials for stakeholders and end users.
• Draft and manage project communications, including updates and announcements.
• Identify potential process improvements and collaborate on business cases for optimization.
