Ingram Micro is seeking a Presales Consultant for Dell Technologies infrastructure solutions in Diegem. You will translate customer needs into technically strong, commercially competitive proposals, designing end-to-end Dell server, storage, and networking environments.

You’ll work with account managers and channel partners to tailor architectures, support bids, and guide customers through technical decisions, ensuring value and alignment with budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in enterprise infrastructure.
• 3–7 years in infra pre-sales or related roles.
• Dell Technologies certifications are a strong advantage.

As a Presales Consultant Dell , you play a key role in supporting sales teams, partners, and customers with the design, positioning, and validation of Dell Technologies infrastructure solutions. You are responsible for turning business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective architectures across servers, storage, and networking.

About the role

The Presales Consultant is a pre-sales-focused role with strong technical responsibility for Dell Technologies infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with account managers, channel partners, and customers to ensure the proposed solutions meet both technical and commercial expectations.

Your focus will be on designing and supporting infrastructure solutions based on Dell PowerEdge Servers , Dell storage platforms such as PowerStore, PowerFlex, PowerScale, and PowerVault , and Dell Networking solutions. You help customers make the right technology decisions by combining technical depth with a practical, business-oriented approach.

Your role in our team

As Presales Consultant Dell, you are the technical backbone of the sales process for infrastructure opportunities. You act as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external customers, supporting the full pre-sales cycle from initial discovery to final solution validation.

You analyze requirements around performance, scalability, availability, security, and budget, and translate them into technically sound solution designs. You collaborate closely with sales teams and partners to strengthen proposals, support competitive positioning, and increase the likelihood of winning new business.

With your strong technical knowledge and customer-focused mindset, you help build confidence in Dell Technologies solutions and ensure each opportunity is supported with the right architecture, sizing, and technical guidance.

The position in a nutshell

In this role, you will:

• Act as the primary technical advisor for Dell server, storage, and networking solutions
• Analyze customer requirements related to performance, availability, scalability, security, and budget
• Design end-to-end infrastructure architectures using Dell PowerEdge servers, Dell storage platforms, and Dell Networking solutions
• Produce technical designs, sizing, configurations, and bills of materials (BOMs)
• Ensure solutions align with Dell best practices and customer technical standards
• Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and technical presentations
• Explain complex technical architectures in a clear and business-oriented way
• Support RFPs, RFIs, and tenders with detailed technical responses
• Assist with proofs of concept (PoCs), demonstrations, and technical validations
• Work closely with account managers and channel partners to support sales opportunities
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically optimized and cost-effective
• Support competitive positioning against other vendors
• Align solutions with customer budgets and implementation timelines
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Dell Technologies portfolio and roadmap
• Provide internal technical enablement and guidance to sales and partner teams

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you bring:

• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Understanding of SAN, DAS, SDS, and Ethernet networking concepts
• The ability to perform infrastructure sizing and capacity planning
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of Dutch and English language
• A customer-focused and solution-driven mindset
• The ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure pre-sales, technical sales, or systems engineering roles
• Dell Technologies certifications, which are considered a strong advantage
