IBA, the world leader in proton therapy, seeks a Power Electronics Engineer to define power supply specifications and collaborate with suppliers during the design process. You will support integration and performance of solutions, ensuring reliability for proton therapy and related applications.

Projects involve high-power DC supplies (200 kW–600 kW) to power accelerator magnets, with opportunities for international deployment and on-site testing. English and French communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Mastery in power electronics and high-power supply design.
• Strong knowledge of analog design and measurement techniques.
• Experience with supplier collaboration through product development.
• Familiarity with electrical safety standards (IEC/EN 60204, 61439).
• Proficiency in Python/Matlab for simulations and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Define power supply specifications and integration aspects for high-power systems.
• Test and validate power supplies on LLN site or at other sites abroad.
• Support troubleshooting remotely or on-site at international locations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation.
