ENGIBEX is a Belgian engineering consultant focusing on power electronics and R&D. We are hiring a Power Electronic Design Engineer to join our automotive powertrain R&D team in Belgium.

You will work on OBC/DCDC for 48V mobility, plus motor inverter development and standards studies. The role requires a Master in power electronics/electrical engineering/mechatronics and 2+ years in automotive development; strong analytical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in power electronics, electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• 2+ years of automotive mass-production development experience.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety and Cyber security development frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills, autonomy and teamwork.
• MS Office and MATLAB/Simulink/Python exposure.

Responsabilités

• Analyze national grid code requirements and EU standards for AC V2G bi-directional charging.
• Develop a new compact On-board Charger/DCDC unit for 48V mobility applications with design reviews and test planning.
• Support development of a motor inverter for 48V traction systems.
• Provide ad-hoc support for vehicle charging and power electronics projects.
