Job summary

EMW, Inc. in Belgium is seeking a Kubernetes-DevOps Engineer to streamline application delivery and bridge development and infrastructure teams.

You will administer container orchestration (Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, Docker), design robust CI/CD pipelines, provision hybrid on-prem and cloud resources with Terraform and Ansible, and implement observability with Prometheus/Grafana/ELK. NATO SECRET clearance is required; on-site role in Braine-l’Alleud.

Qualifications

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance is required.
• 5+ years hands-on DevOps or automated platform management experience.
• Experience deploying container workloads and orchestration (Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, Docker).
• Strong CI/CD, GitOps, pipeline automation, and version control with GitLab, ArgoCD or Jenkins.
• IaC experience with Terraform; automating configurations with Ansible.
• Hybrid infra management across VMware and major clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Scripting in Bash or Python for automation.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving in fast-moving Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Rancher) and onboard apps to production.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and delivery.
• Provision and manage hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliability and performance.
• Embed security best practices into pipelines and configurations.
• Troubleshoot integration and deployment issues across Agile teams.
• Some work outside normal hours may be required.
