Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a People Operations Trainee to support the People & Culture Department under HR. The role is hands-on, collaborative and aligned with corporate policies, reflecting the company culture and values.

The trainee will handle HR processes, records and employee support in a structured environment. The position is a 6-month internship starting end of November, focusing on HR administration, policies and program guidance with escalation for complex issues.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a school program to be eligible for the internship.
• Proficiency in English and good communication skills.
• Pro-active with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to manage workload ensuring that tasks assigned are delivered.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and verifying HR systems accuracy to ensure optimal performance and functionality, providing administrative support when required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximize the employee service and the team experience, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
• Upkeeping employee records and files in compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
• Registering enrolments, disenrollments and data modifications in different benefit plans and in company tools.
• Providing first-level support and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and programs. HR inquiries are responded via a ticket system, or chat, and complex or sensitive issues should be escalated to the Manager, Shared Services.
• Any other HR task that is assigned by the team.
