Michael Page zoekt een Payroll & Benefits Specialist voor een internationaal bedrijf gevestigd in Zaventem. Je beheert volledig en tijdig de payroll voor alle medewerkers in overeenstemming met wet- en regelgeving en interne beleidslijnen. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Master in een relevante richting of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
• Meer dan 4 jaar ervaring in payroll management
• Goede kennis van de Belgische sociale wetgeving
• Vloeiend in Engels en Nederlands ( geschreven en gesproken ); kennis van Frans is een plus
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en discreet omgaan met vertrouwelijke informatie
• Klantgericht en internationaal georiënteerd werkend

Responsabilités

• Nauwkeurige uitvoering van de maandelijkse payroll cyclus inclusief salarisberekening, voordelen, belastingen en sociale zekerheidsbijdragen
• Leveren van ad-hoc rapportages en analyses met inzichten in loonkosten en HR-trends
• Samenwerken met de externe payroll provider (bv. SD Worx) voor een soepele payroll-operatie
• Beheren en verbeteren van processen rond verlof, afwezigheden en employee benefits
• Eerste contactpunt voor werknemers met payroll- en benefits-gerelateerde vragen
• Bijdragen aan HR-projecten en implementatie van nieuwe HR-tools
• Zorgen voor naleving van sociale en fiscale wetgeving en best practices in payroll

Payroll Specialist

As Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you are responsible for the full, accurate and timely management of the company's payroll administration for all employees, in full compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
You play a central role in optimising payroll processes, with a strong affinity for Compensation & Benefits, and actively contribute to broader HR projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure the accurate execution of the monthly payroll cycle, including salary calculations, benefits, taxes and social security contributions.
• Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analytics, providing detailed insights into payroll costs, HR trends and other key performance indicators.
• Work closely with the external payroll provider (e.g. SD Worx) to guarantee a smooth and reliable payroll operation.
• Manage and continuously improve processes related to leave, absences and employee benefits (insurance plans, meal vouchers, etc.).
• Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll and benefits-related queries, with the ability to clearly explain payroll related processes.
• Actively contribute to HR projects, including initiatives aimed at improving payroll and compensation efficiency and the implementation of new HR tools or solutions.
• Ensure full compliance with social and tax legislation and promote best practices within the payroll function.

Profiel

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience
• You can demonstrate more than 4 years of experience in payroll management. Any additional experience with the UK, Germany, or the Netherlands payroll systems is considered an asset.
• You have a very good knowledge of the Belgian social legislation
• You are fluent in English and Dutch (both written and spoken), knowledge of French is an asset.
• You possess good communication skills allowing you to clearly explain HR payroll related processes to varied stakeholders
• You are customer oriented, can handle confidential information with the necessary discretion and enjoy working within an international and multicultural environment
