Job summary

DynaFin Consulting is seeking a Payment Process Expert to help financial institutions optimize payment operations and drive business transformation. You will work across international payment processes, collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams, and champion process improvements in a dynamic consulting environment.

The role emphasizes analytical skills, banking domain knowledge and the ability to translate challenges into practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Payments and Banking Operations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing international payment processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and operational performance.
• Translate business challenges into practical process improvements and actionable recommendations.
• Review business workflows, identify operational risks and contribute to the design of more effective operating models.
• Work with business stakeholders, operational teams and IT to define and implement solutions.
• Support process transformation initiatives from assessment to implementation and follow-up.
• Assist with introducing new tools, technologies and automation in payment operations.
• Define and monitor operational indicators to measure process effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
• Facilitate workshops, document business requirements and align stakeholders.
• Support change initiatives by helping teams adopt new processes and ways of working.

Your Impact

As a Payment Process Expert, you will support financial institutions in improving their payment operations and delivering business transformation initiatives.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Analyse existing international payment processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and operational performance.
• Translate business challenges into practical process improvements and actionable recommendations.
• Review business workflows, identify operational risks and contribute to the design of more effective operating models.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, operational teams and IT experts to define and implement appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to process transformation initiatives, from initial assessment and solution design to implementation and follow-up.
• Support the introduction of new tools, technologies and automation opportunities within payment operations.
• Define and monitor operational indicators to measure process effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
• Facilitate workshops, document business requirements and ensure alignment between stakeholders.
• Support change initiatives by helping teams adopt new processes and ways of working.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Payments, Banking Operations, Business Analysis or Process Management, including substantial exposure to international cross-border payment activities. Experience with process automation, data analytics or emerging technologies within financial services is considered an additional asset.
• Solid understanding of payment products, operational processes and the banking environment.
• Experience in analysing complex workflows and translating findings into practical improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of process mapping, business requirements documentation and process improvement methodologies.
• Ability to understand the interaction between business processes, operational systems and technology.
• Experience contributing to transformation or change initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Confidence in facilitating discussions, challenging existing practices and presenting recommendations.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently in a consulting environment.
• Fluency in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.
• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
