Motherwell Bridge Industries Limited is seeking an Operations Manager based at Malta Freeport Terminals.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure the smooth running of the operations based at Malta Freeport Terminals; overseeing the operations and administration functions, identifying, developing and following through requests for new jobs at the Malta Freeport Terminals to grow the business organically whilst maintaining healthy business relationships with the client.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Level 6 Education level in Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of operational planning, process optimisation, and performance management.
• Experience managing teams, schedules and operational budgets.
• Understand health & safety, compliance and internal control procedures.
• Proficient in operational reporting, KPIs and MS Office.
• Experience liaising with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Motherwell Bridge Industries Limited is seeking to recruit an operations Manager based in Malta. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will ensure the smooth running of the operations based at Malta Freeport Terminals; overseeing the operations and administration functions, identifying, developing and following through requests for new jobs at the Malta Freeport Terminals to grow the business organically whilst maintaining healthy business relationships with the client. In this role, you will also be responsible for supporting and driving other local projects.

The successful candidate will set out action plans in line with the Company’s strategy and additionally ensure that operations are carried out up to industry standards, raising and processing any documentation on time and in accordance with the standard procedures as laid in the Company’s manual.

The Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a multi-functional or fast-paced environment
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
• Level 6 Education level in Engineering
• Strong knowledge of operational planning, process optimisation, and performance management
• Experience managing teams, schedules, and operational budgets
• Sound understanding of health & safety, compliance, and internal control procedures
• Proficient in operational reporting, KPIs, and use of MS Office systems
• Experience liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
