BMS Offshore in Gent, Belgium, seeks an HR Manager to lead a future‑proof HR strategy that supports people and projects across onshore and offshore teams. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, development, compliance and employee engagement, aligning activities with our values and international growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, psychology, business administration or social sciences.
• Strategic, hands-on mindset balancing daily ops with long-term goals.
• Fluent in English; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with HR tools and systems is a plus.

Embark now on your next adventure as HR Manager at BMS Offshore. You will lead the development of a future‑proof HR strategy that supports both our people and projects. You will oversee HR processes from recruitment and onboarding to talent development, compliance and employee engagement, ensuring all activities align with our company values and international growth objectives.

In this dynamic role you act as a trusted advisor to management and a key point of contact for employees onshore and offshore. With a strong understanding of both operational requirements and employee needs, you help foster a professional, people‑centered workplace where teams can thrive.

The position offers significant opportunities for personal growth, a good degree of autonomy and involves meaningful collaboration across departments. While administrative tasks may be part of the role, the core focus remains on strategic HR leadership and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and processes that support our operational and strategic goals.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and career development for both office and offshore staff.
• Advise management on workforce planning, performance and employee relations.
• Support the integration and optimisation of HR tools and systems.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or Social Sciences.
• A strategic, yet hands‑on mindset able to balance daily operations with long‑term goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills; approachable, discreet and professional.
• A passion for people and a belief in the value of structured HR practices.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HR software (Odoo knowledge) is a plus.
• Additional languages.
