Motherwell Bridge Industries Limited seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations from its Malta base and support its international activities. The role covers recruitment, engagement and retention while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company values.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in an HR management role, a degree in HR practices and employment law, and fluency in Maltese and English.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Maltese and English (both spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, databases, and HR metrics.

Motherwell Bridge Industries Limited is seeking to recruit a Human Resources Manager based in Malta and supporting its international operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Manager shall be responsible for day-do-day Human Resources function across the company, including recruitment, selection, engagement and retention whilst supporting functional heads to ensure an engaging working environment in compliance with the division’s corporate values, best practices and, government regulation and legislation.

The Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR Managerial role; a background in operations is considered an asset.
• Diploma/ Degree in HR Practices and Employment Law
• Fluency in Maltese and English (both spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, databases, and HR metrics.
• In-depth understanding of HR principles, practices, and legislation, including employment law, labour relations, and health & safety regulations.
• Knowledge in handling of visa and work permit applications across an international basis.
• Knowledge of recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, training & development, and employee engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong Knowledge of Payroll Computation
• Strong knowledge of Payroll Systems (ex. Shireburn)
