Operational Project Engineer

As an Operational Project Engineer at BMS Offshore, you serve as the vital link between engineering and execution. You meticulously prepare offshore operations, ensuring every detail is accounted for to guarantee safe, efficient and high‑quality execution. You collaborate closely with project managers, vessel crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to bring our projects to life at sea.

Responsibilities

• Translate project plans into method statements, risk assessments and clear execution plans;
• Prepare offshore deck layouts, equipment lists and mobilization procedures;
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vessel teams for operational readiness;
• Provide technical support during offshore campaigns and respond to operational challenges;
• Monitor progress to ensure QHSE compliance and respond to operational challenges;
• Support project close‑out with documentation, lessons learned and evaluations.

Must Have

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering;
• A hands‑on mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving;
• Experience with offshore operations or a strong interest to grow in the field;
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit;
• A structured way of working and attention to detail;
• Fluent in verbal and written English;
• Flexible and the ability to work in a high‑stakes project environment.
