Job summary

Axalta is seeking a Technical Service Specialist - Automotive Coatings (m/f/d) to provide on-site technical expertise for Volvo Gent in Belgium. This role sits at the heart of a major automotive manufacturing environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and process excellence.

The successful candidate will support coating applications, run trials, analyze results, lead root-cause investigations, and collaborate with Marketing, Product Management and Sales to launch new products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical advice and support for Volvo Gent.
• Handle application-related inquiries about products, systems and processes.
• Plan, conduct, and document application trials at the customer site with results and recommendations.
• Independently investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Perform root cause analyses and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support the launch of new products and technologies with cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead and contribute to customer-focused technical projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
