Job summary

Vestas Offshore Service is seeking an Offshore Service Technician to support maintenance and operation of wind turbines at Nobelwind in Oostende, Belgium. The role involves hands-on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical work, with responsibilities including check-ups, repairs, and creating follow-up orders.

Ideal candidates hold an electrical or mechanical degree, are fluent in English (Dutch advantageous), and have 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Completed an electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university.
• Fluent in English; Dutch will be advantageous.
• Ideally 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical field.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Driving license category B.
• Living in Belgium or within 50 km of Oostende, or willing to relocate at own expense.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems as directed by Supervisor.
• Maintaining and upgrading installation activities.
• Carrying out check-ups, repairs and replacement of turbine components.
• Creating follow-up orders.
• Ensure smooth operation of turbines and use of systems like Condition Monitoring/Remote Control.
• Contribute to a safe working environment.
