Wind Turbine Service Technician – Belgium

Your tasks
As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing wind turbines to ensure maximum availability and reliability. You'll work on a variety of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and converter systems, making every working day different.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbines
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults
- Supporting inspections, troubleshooting and root cause analyses
- Completing service reports, work orders and maintenance documentation
- Reporting incidents and completed work according to HSE procedures
- Following customer-specific procedures and site regulations
- Working safely in accordance with company and industry standards
- Collaborating closely with fellow technicians and support teams
- Participating in the on‑call rotation, including weekends and public holidays
Your profile
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, works safely and takes pride in delivering high‑quality service.
You Have
- An MBO Level 3/4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical background
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within wind energy or a comparable technical environment
- Experience working with low and high voltage installations
- BA4/BA5, NEN 3140 or NEN 3840 certification, or the willingness to obtain these
- A good command of English
- A valid Category B driving licence
- Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office
- A practical, proactive and solution‑focused approach
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- The physical ability to work at height
- Flexibility to travel between different wind farms
- Residence within approximately 40 km of Ghent or Brussels

- Salary between €3,500 and €4,800 gross per month
- Belgian contract (PC 209 – employee status)
