Job summary

Vestas is seeking an Offshore Shift Lead to join the SOV-based team for the He Dreiht wind farm in the North Sea. You will lead day-to-day offshore operations from the SOV on a 14/14 rotation, ensure safety standards, and drive high-performance teams in a cutting-edge wind turbine environment.

You will oversee maintenance, develop your crew, and coordinate with subcontractors to maximize turbine availability and operational efficiency on complex offshore assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore industry or a similar technical environment.
• Proven leadership and ability to lead by example.
• Track record of developing efficient, high-performing teams.
• Solid IT skills and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day offshore operations from the Service Operation Vessel (SOV) on a 14/14 rotation schedule.
• Take ownership of team development through coaching and mentoring.
• Oversee maintenance activities to maximize turbine availability and performance.
• Ensure safety and compliance by reinforcing the code of conduct and promoting HSE excellence.
• Facilitate technical focus meetings, team briefings, and support strategy deployment.
• Manage crew interface and contingency planning for smooth SOV operations.
• Oversee subcontractor activities onboard and monitor performance.
