Job summary

Arnest in Belgium is seeking an Offshore Construction Manager to lead on large-scale energy projects. You will report to the Works Manager and serve as SPOC for the EPC contractor on day-to-day construction activities, coordinating Client Representatives and Project Engineers.

The role requires a Master’s in Civil Engineering, 10+ years’ civil construction experience, offshore exposure is a strong asset, and multi-disciplinary knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of relevant civil construction experience.
• Offshore sector experience is a strong asset.
• Multidisciplinary knowledge (structural, corrosion protection, electrical/mechanical/instrumentation) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Client Representatives and Project Engineers.
• Manage staffing plans, recruitment, and integration of Client Reps.
• Oversee HSE and QC for the EPC contractor using a risk-based approach.
• Review method statements, risk analyses, and operational procedures.
• Track day-to-day site progress and provide structured reporting.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and propose mitigation plans.
