Tractebel is seeking a Civil Works Site Engineer in its Proximity department to oversee civil works for Doel 4 life extension, decommissioning Doel 1-3, and plant support. You will join the Site Team under the Site Lead mentorship and coordinate with clients and contractors on site.

The role requires a Master in civil/structural engineering, relevant experience, and fluency in Dutch. Hybrid work is available, providing a mix of on-site and remote days within Belgium.

Qualifications

• Master degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor environment is preferred.
• Fluency in Dutch is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Interface between back office, Client and Contractors for works realization.
• Inspect Contractors’ execution activities and verify compliance with drawings and docs.
• Verify and monitor QA/QC requirements.
• Manage technical interfaces between Contractors.
• Follow up main design modifications and changes.
• Participate in regular progress, interface, and HSE meetings.
• Draft work orders and site orders, issue notes on execution and shortcomings.
• Maintain ongoing communication on developments in work and studies.
