Job summary

Tractebel Engineering S.A. (BE) is seeking a Civil Works Site Engineer for the Proximity department, within the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’ of the Nuclear Business Area.

You will oversee civil works for Doel 4 life extension, decommissioning, and plant support, reporting to the Site Lead in a collaborative team environment. You hold a Master in civil/structural engineering, have relevant experience, and fluency in Dutch is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Master degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory).
• Curious mindset and a questioning attitude.
• Born team player with clear communication.
• Good writing skills for technical notes.
• FANC habilitation VCA-VOL BA4 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface between back office, client and contractors for works realization.
• Inspect contractors’ execution activities and verify against drawings and documents.
• Verify and monitor QA/QC requirements.
• Manage technical interfaces between contractors.
• Follow up on main design modifications.
• Participate in progress, interfaces and HSE meetings.
• Draft work orders/site orders and report on execution and progress.
