Tractebel invites a Civil Works Site Engineer to join the Proximity department within the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’, part of the Business Area Nuclear. You will follow civil works across Doel-related projects, interfacing with clients and contractors and supporting long-term operations, decommissioning, and plant operational activities.

You join the Site Team under the mentorship of the Site Lead, with hybrid work options and a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Master degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Relevant professional experience in engineering or contractor’s environment.
• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory).
• Curious mindset and a questioning attitude.
• Born team player.
• Good writing skills for technical notes.

Responsabilités

• Interface between Tractebel, Client and Contractors realizing the works.
• Inspect Contractor activities and verify against drawings and documents.
• Verify and monitor QA/QC requirements.
• Manage the technical interfaces between Contractors.
• Manage and follow up main design modifications.
• Participate in regular stakeholder meetings: progress, interfaces, HSE, etc.
• Draft work orders and site orders, issue notes on execution and shortcomings, and check progress reports.
• Exchange information on developments in work and studies.
