Tractebel is seeking a Civil Works Site Engineer to join the Proximity department within the Civil Engineering & Infra metier, ENGIE group. You will supervise civil works related to Doel life-time extension, decommissioning, and plant operation support, coordinating with Client and Contractors.

Qualifications

• Master degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor’s environment, including design assignments and erection follow-up.
• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory).
• FANC habilitation VCA-VOL BA4 is required.

Responsabilités

• Interfacing between Tractebel’s back office, the Client and Contractors realizing the works.
• Inspecting the Contractors’ execution activities, verifying compliance with execution drawings and documents (erection methodology etc.).
• Verifying and monitoring QA/QC requirements.
• Managing the technical interfaces between Contractors.
• Managing and following up on main design modifications.
• Participating in regular meetings with stakeholders (progress, interfaces, HSE).
• Drafting work orders and site orders, issuing notes on execution and shortcomings, checking progress reports.
• Continually exchanging information on developments in work and studies.
