Verhaert On-Site Consulting seeks a production/NP I engineer to coordinate ASIC project transitions from engineering to full volume production. You will refine processes and tooling, and drive a hands-on, agile approach within a fast-moving team.

The role emphasizes statistical rigor, root-cause problem solving, and compliance with automotive (IATF 16949) and medical (ISO 13485) standards, with a strong focus on achieving top yield and quality. Opportunities for diverse projects and growth.

Qualifications

• Proven production engineering or NPI experience in ASIC/semiconductor.
• Hands-on problem solving with root-cause methods.
• Experience with automotive (IATF 16949) and/or medical (ISO 13485) standards.
• Experience with SPC and MSA.

Responsabilités

• NPI Coordination: Lead and coordinate the transition of new ASIC projects from the engineering phase into full volume production.
• Process & Tooling Optimization: Define, implement, and continuously refine manufacturing processes, assembly flows, and specialized tooling.
• Yield & Performance Tracking: Monitor production metrics (yield, efficiency, quality) and resolve technical bottlenecks to stabilize output.
• Quality & Compliance: Apply industry statistical tools to maintain high standards across the manufacturing pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• NPI Coordination: Lead and coordinate the transition of new ASIC projects from the engineering phase into full volume production.
• Process & Tooling Optimization: Define, implement, and continuously refine manufacturing processes, assembly flows, and specialized tooling.
• Yield & Performance Tracking: Monitor key production metrics (yield, efficiency, quality) and resolve technical bottlenecks quickly to stabilize output.
• Quality & Compliance: Apply industry statistical tools to maintain high standards across the entire manufacturing pipeline.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Proven track record in production engineering, process engineering, or NPI industrialization within the ASIC or semiconductor industry.
• Statistical Rigor: Practical experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis).
• Industry Standards: Deep familiarity with high-reliability compliance standards, specifically Automotive (e.g., IATF 16949 / AEC-Q100) and/or Medical (e.g., ISO 13485).
• Mindset: Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills paired with an agile, hands-on approach.
