Job summary

NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking a Data Scientist specialized in text mining and NLP to design and optimise AI/ML models for European Commission projects. You’ll implement tokenisation, NER, classification, and clustering tasks, fine-tune domain models, and deliver scalable Python solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform rigorous experiments, and communicate insights through reports and visuals. English proficiency is essential for collaboration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Machine Learning and NLP.
• Strong Python and libraries (Pandas, SpaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face).
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
• Familiarity with LLMs and transformer architectures.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• Ability to design scalable ML solutions and bias mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise advanced AI, NLP, and ML models using LLMs and RAG frameworks.
• Create tokenisation, POS tagging, NER, classification and clustering for text mining tasks.
• Fine-tune pre-trained models on domain-specific tasks.
• Develop robust, scalable Python code and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop reports and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Conduct experiments to improve model accuracy, efficiency and scalability.
