Job summary

DEXIS in Mechelen is seeking a senior software engineer for the .NET team to design and implement server applications, review code, and drive quality with unit tests and CI.

You will be an Azure expert, work with CosmosDB, REST APIs, React assets, and collaborate across teams; onsite 4 days a week to support product development and customer success.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions with clear focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Good knowledge of relevant programming languages and supporting frameworks (C#, .NET, ..)
• Experience with CosmosDB
• Experience on Restful web services and API design.
• Good knowledge on Azure Functions and architecture. Experience with Azure Devops is an asset.
• Experience with React is an asset
• Open and good communicator
• You have a strong analytical mindset and are able to think together with us.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• You monitor and control the code quality. This includes ensuring correct code review, decent unit tests, continuous integration and follow-up of coding guidelines amongst others.
• As an Azure expert, you share your knowledge with other team members. You follow-up on trends and provide input for the technical roadmap.
• You detect, treat and solve issues, communicate and educate solution to the team.
• Assist in 3rdLevel support cases and support with software testing
