EMW is seeking a highly experienced SATCOM Network Engineer to deliver architecture, design, and operational support for SATCOM networks in a mission-critical NATO environment. The role emphasizes end-to-end service delivery, security, and resilience across hybrid architectures.

The position requires deep knowledge of IP networking, VLANs, SD-WAN, and SATCOM access methods, with a NATO SECRET clearance preferred. Standard NCIA work hours apply, based in Mons, Belgium, onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or Network Engineering.
• 5+ years in IP networking and troubleshooting complex networks.
• Experience with SATCOM, WAN, or deployed comms in mission-critical environments.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, IPv4 addressing, subnetting, TCP/UDP.
• Proficiency with Cisco routing and switching platforms.
• Knowledge of VLAN tagging, mapping, trunking, and SD‑WAN in hybrid WAN contexts.
• CCNA certification or equivalent practical experience.
• English at C1 level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Provide SATCOM Network Engineering Services for design, integration, operation, and optimisation of SATCOM networks.
• Produce technical assessments and engineering artefacts supporting NATO capabilities.
• Deliver standardised documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational guidance.
• Maintain end-to-end SATCOM service delivery with secure, reliable network infrastructure.
• Coordinate with NCIA and other stakeholders, ensuring governance and compliance.
