Actief Interim in Belgium Oostkamp is looking for a hands-on maintenance technician with a strong electrical maintenance or electromechanics background to care for buildings, the warehouse, installations and outdoor areas. Dutch isn’t required; English proficiency is welcome.

You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read electrical diagrams, and supervise external contractors. The role offers a full-time contract, day shifts (8:00–16:00), meal vouchers, commuting and bike

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in electrical maintenance or electromechanics or another technical field.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Own transportation to the company.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Already living in Belgium, preferably in Oostkamp area.

Are you a hands-on technician who's already living in Belgium? Do you have solid knowledge of electricity or electromechanics? And are you looking for a stable job in maintenance work with lots of variety? Then this might be the job for you!

For a growing transport and logistics company in Oostkamp, we are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance technician with a strong background in electrical maintenance or electromechanics to help maintain the buildings, warehouse, technical installations, and outdoor areas of the company. And the best part: Dutch isn't required, so you can also apply if you speak English very well!

Your role

As technician, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational performance of the infrastructure. You perform both the preventive and corrective maintenance of all the facilities, ensuring the logistical operations keep running safely and efficiently. Electricity is at the heart of the job, but you're also responsible for a wide range of general building maintenance.

Your key duties:

• Perform various kinds of repairs, replacements and maintenance works to the infrastructure of the company
• Carry out preventive technical controls on the various installations
• Keep up the company grounds and outdoor facilities
• Help perform maintenance and repairs to the company vehicles
• Supervise external contractors and service providers

You'll sometimes need to go into the freezer warehouse, of course with the necessary thermal clothing.

Is this you?

• Education and/or experience in electrical maintenance, electromechanics or another relevent technical field
• Able to read electrical diagrams and schematics
• Own transportation to the company (no public transport nearby)
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
• Already living in Belgium, preferably in the greater area of Oostkamp

Any other technical skills are a big plus but not required, e.g. mechanics, plumbing, HVAC...
