Jobat is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician in Oostkamp, Belgium. You will help maintain the buildings, warehouse, and technical installations with a strong emphasis on electrical maintenance or electromechanics.

As a technician, you will ensure reliability, safety, and operational performance of infrastructure, performing preventive and corrective maintenance to keep logistics operations running smoothly. Experience with general building maintenance is valued, and Dutch is not required.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of electricity or electromechanics is required.
• Belgian residency is assumed for the role.
• English language skills are acceptable since Dutch is not required.

For a growing transport and logistics company in Oostkamp, we are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance technician with a strong background in electrical maintenance or electromechanics to help maintain the buildings, warehouse, technical installations, and outdoor areas of the company. And the best part: Dutch isn't required, so you can also apply if you speak English very well!

Your role

As technician, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational performance of the infrastructure. You perform both the preventive and corrective maintenance of all the facilities, ensuring the logistical operations keep running safely and efficiently. Electricity is at the heart of the job, but you're also responsible for a wide range of general building maintenance.

Your key duties:

• Perform various kinds of repairs, replacements and maintenance works to the infrastructure of the company
• Carry out preventive technical controls on the various installations
• Keep up the company grounds and outdoor facilities
• Help perform maintenance and repairs to the company vehicles
• Supervise external contractors and service providers

You’ll sometimes need to go into the freezer warehouse, of course with the necessary thermal clothing.
