ACTIEF OOSTKAMP is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician in Oostkamp with a strong electrical or electromechanical background. You will maintain buildings, warehouses, and outdoor areas, ensuring safety and reliable operations. Dutch is not required, and English proficiency is welcomed.

The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance for facilities and equipment, with occasional work in the freezer area requiring appropriate thermal clothing.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance or electromechanics.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse/industrial environment.
• Fluent in English; Dutch not required.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs, replacements and maintenance on company infrastructure.
• Carry out preventive technical checks on installations.

For a growing transport and logistics company in Oostkamp, we are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance technician with a strong background in electrical maintenance or electromechanics to help maintain the buildings, warehouse, technical installations, and outdoor areas of the company. And the best part: Dutch isn't required, so you can also apply if you speak English very well!

Your role

As technician, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational performance of the infrastructure. You perform both the preventive and corrective maintenance of all the facilities, ensuring the logistical operations keep running safely and efficiently. Electricity is at the heart of the job, but you're also responsible for a wide range of general building maintenance.

Your key duties:

• Perform various kinds of repairs, replacements and maintenance works to the infrastructure of the company
• Carry out preventive technical controls on the various installations
• Keep up the company grounds and outdoor facilities
• Help perform maintenance and repairs to the company vehicles
• Supervise external contractors and service providers

You’ll sometimes need to go into the freezer warehouse, of course with the necessary thermal clothing.
