Job summary

HumanInTech in Brussels is seeking a skilled .NET/C# developer with strong Angular frontend expertise. You will join a Belgian public-sector project, building web apps and components that support policy processes.

Work full-time in a hybrid setup, reporting to the content coordinator. 3–5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree are expected, with Dutch at CEFR C2 preferred.

What you will do

You will join a development team within a Belgian public-sector organisation, working on web applications and components that support policy processes. The applications are built with .NET Core / .NET 10 (C#) and modern Angular versions for the front end.

Your tasks include:

• Developing and maintaining new and existing functionalities in web applications
• Using your front-end skills to support the entire development team
• Translating functional specifications into technical designs
• Supporting other IT teams that use components from the portfolio
• Ensuring technical solutions fit within the established architecture, standards and frameworks
• Working and communicating openly and transparently in a Scrum context

You will collaborate with other developers and report to the content coordinator.

What we are looking for

Essential technical skills:

• At least 4 years of professional experience in .NET software development (C#)
• At least 3 years of professional experience in web development with recent Angular versions (including Angular 20 or higher)
• Demonstrable knowledge of web API and .NET Core
• Demonstrable experience with relational databases and SQL
• Demonstrable knowledge of EF Core
• Education with certification or equivalent through experience in programming languages and environments such as .NET (C#), ASP.NET

Valuable additional skills:

• Experience with NGRX
• Knowledge of CQRS
• Experience with GitHub Copilot
• Experience working in a Scrum context
• Knowledge and experience of Agile development methodology

The setting

This assignment runs from 9 November 2026 to 30 April 2027. The role is based in Brussels, with hybrid working possible. You will work full-time (approximately 880 hours over the assignment period) within a team that manages a broad and varied portfolio with significant reach and impact.
