Qualifications

Responsabilités

Detailed Job Description:

As a Senior Angular Developer at ThoughtLabs Belgium in Brussels, you will take full ownership of frontend architecture, component-driven UI development, automated unit/integration testing, and European public sector portal integration. Your day-to-day responsibilities encompass engineering modular Angular applications, executing rigorous software quality assurance, collaborating with backend teams on Java / Spring Boot microservices integration, and ensuring strict compliance with EU web accessibility (WCAG) and security guidelines. You will participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery workflows. Working in a fast-paced public sector consulting environment in Brussels, you will drive technical excellence, application reliability, and mission-critical success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications utilizing expert-level Angular frameworks and TypeScript.
• Spearhead component architecture, state management, reactive programming with RxJS, and responsive UI engineering.
• Execute rigorous software testing, unit testing (Jasmine/Karma/Jest), and end-to-end testing (Cypress/Playwright) for European Parliament applications.
• Integrate frontend Angular components with robust backend services, REST APIs, and Java / Spring Boot microservices.
• Ensure strict adherence to European public sector web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and cybersecurity compliance baselines.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
