Responsabilités

• Provide first and second-line technical support for Natus and Micromed neurodiagnostic systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and workflow issues remote and onsite.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and system health checks.
• Install, configure, and validate EEG, EMG, and related neurodiagnostic systems.
• Remotely install and configure servers within customer environments.
• Set up and support HL7 interfaces between Natus solutions and hospital systems.
• Troubleshoot HL7 message flow, connectivity, and data transfer problems.
• Document support actions and configurations accurately; provide status updates.
• Collaborate with IT teams, Product Specialists, and Service Engineers to ensure outcomes.

Medical Systems & Connectivity Support Engineer

Kontich, Belgium | Hybrid (3 days per week in our Kontich office)

At Natus Medical, we develop and support market-leading neurodiagnostic solutions used by hospitals and healthcare professionals worldwide. We are looking for a Medical Systems & Connectivity Support Engineer to join our Benelux team, combining hands-on medical systems support with healthcare IT connectivity and HL7 integration activities.

This is a hybrid role based in Kontich, Belgium, with 3 days per week in the office and occasional travel to customer sites across the Benelux region.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Service & Support team, you will provide both technical support and connectivity expertise, ensuring customers receive outstanding service while maintaining reliable clinical system performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing first and second-line technical support for Natus and Micromed neurodiagnostic systems
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and workflow-related issues remotely and onsite
• Performing preventative maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and system health checks
• Installing, configuring, and validating EEG, EMG, and related neurodiagnostic systems
• Remotely installing and configuring servers within customer environments
• Setting up and supporting HL7 interfaces between Natus solutions and hospital information systems
• Troubleshooting HL7 message flow, connectivity issues, acknowledgements, and data transfer problems
• Configuring systems within hospital network environments and working closely with hospital IT teams
• Building, configuring, testing, and validating systems prior to customer deployment
• Documenting support cases, installations, corrective actions, and technical configurations accurately
• Providing regular updates on support activities and customer issues
• Supporting continuous improvement of installation procedures, support processes, and technical documentation
• Collaborating with Product Specialists, Service Engineers, Sales teams, and Technical Operations to ensure successful customer outcomes

Essential Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone with:

• 2-5 years of experience in technical support, medical technology, healthcare IT, systems engineering, or a related field
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in customer environments
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, Windows operating systems, and remote support tools
• Experience installing, configuring, or supporting technical systems, software, or medical devices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with customers and technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear technical documentation
• A technical qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline
• Ability to travel occasionally throughout the Benelux region when required

Preferred Qualifications

The following skills would be advantageous but are not essential:

• Experience supporting EEG, EMG, neurodiagnostic, or other medical technology systems
• Knowledge of HL7 interfaces, healthcare integrations, or hospital information systems
• Experience with Windows Server environments
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Understanding of VPNs, DNS, firewalls, certificates, and network troubleshooting
• Experience working within healthcare, hospital, or clinical environments
• Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies
• Exposure to interface engines, data integration, or system connectivity projects

• French language skills would be advantageous
