Vivid Resourcing is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our engineering team and help develop innovative electronic products for the medical sector. You will work on high-quality electronic systems where performance, reliability and safety are critical to patient outcomes.

From concept through to production, you will design, prototype, test and validate hardware, collaborating with mechanical, embedded software, systems and manufacturing engineers to deliver robust, regulatory-compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in electronics design and development.
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium, Cadence, KiCad or equivalent.
• Experience with circuit analysis, component selection and hardware debugging.
• Practical experience using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators.
• Experience working across the electronics development lifecycle, from concept through to testing and production.
• Experience in a high-reliability engineering environment, ideally medical devices, automotive, aerospace, industrial or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware/software integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop electronic circuits for medical products and equipment.
• Create and review schematics; select components; support PCB design and layout.
• Work on analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics.
• Build and test prototypes; hardware bring-up and debugging.
• Perform circuit analysis, measurements and troubleshooting using laboratory equipment.
• Support verification and validation activities to ensure designs meet technical and product requirements.
• Work closely with embedded software engineers to integrate electronics and firmware.
• Support EMC, electrical safety and other relevant product testing.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and engineering change processes.
• Support the transition of designs from development into production and industrialisation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electronics design and development processes.
