Linesight seeks a Logistics Manager to lead subcontractor logistics planning for a large data centre project. You will coordinate with the construction team and subcontractors to ensure installation aligns with design documents and schedules.
You will work closely with the client and main contractor, requiring strong EQ, clear communication, and proven experience in complex, technical sites. The role demands hands-on planning and precise documentation.
As a Logistics Manager you will work directly with the campus logistics lead and the PMC construction team. You will also be heavily involved with managing the GR subcontractor package, SPC subcontractor requirements and deliveries, and be available to assist in ensuring the logistics and planning for all subcontractors on site runs efficiently for a project of this size. Further, to ensure the subcontractors (SPC) perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance with the contract documents. This role is focused on managing all subcontractor logistics planning and field installation details for a large complex data centre project, having stringent technical requirements. You will be working with a PMC structure, client side to support the overall project from design to full commissioning/operation.
To be successful in the role you will be a very detail-oriented individual with extensive prior experience working as a logistics construction manager on data centre projects or other large scale technical projects. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field complies with such documents. The candidate must have excellent Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the main contractor and subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in their ability.
