IKEA Belgium is seeking a Service Fulfillment Operations Team Leader to drive the last mile of IKEA's supply chain. You will lead a team of specialists, coordinate with internal and external partners, and ensure high customer satisfaction through operational excellence.

You will report to the Service Fulfillment Operations Manager and travel to stores as part of duties. This role is based at the Service Office in Zaventem, and supports long-term capacity planning and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Logistics, Economics, business administration or relevant work experience.
  • 2-4 years working experience with different stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proven analytical and numerical skills and ability to develop service fulfillment with financial impact and customer experience.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and IKEA applications.
  • Knowledge and experience of meeting, influencing and interacting with various business partners.
  • Fluent in English.

Who you are

In a time where the buying behavior of IKEA customers constantly changes and the demand for services in general is increasing, you as a service fulfillment operations Team Leader are responsible to bring the last leg of IKEA’s supply chain to the next level. The last leg of IKEA’s supply chain is often the most critical, given it’s one of the last steps before IKEA’s products reaches our many customer.

As a team we have the willingness to improve the business by making our customer happy about their services execution and to make IKEA Belgium more profitable by avoiding unnecessary costs. For this role you should have a university degree in preferred Logistics, Economics, business administration or relevant work experience.

  • You bring with you 2-4 years working experience where you were used to work with different stakeholders and external partners.
  • You have proven analytical and numerical skills and use your know-how to develop the service fulfillment with high quality understanding the financial impact and customer experience.
  • You have high proficiency in Microsoft Office and IKEA applications.
  • You have knowledge and experience of meeting, influencing and interacting with various business partners.
  • You have a fluent level in English
Your responsibilities

As a person you have a strong collaborative mind-set in building relationships across the organization and use your excellent communication and negotiation skills. You have the ability to identify need and drive change within the organization acting in multi-cultural, interdependent and matrix environments in a fast-changing environment. You have capability to translate business and customer needs into development initiatives and actions with an end-to-end approach.

As a leader you will be accountable for leading a team of specialists (Service Fulfilment Operations developers or Service Fulfilment Operations Specialists) to secure a high-performing organization in the market service fulfilment network including:

  • Daily operations for services connected to internal and external service partners
  • Operational excellence
  • Efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Short and mid-term capacities
  • Cost development and contribution to the cost goal
  • Lead-time development
  • Sustainability

In this role you will report to the Service Fulfillment Operations Manager. This role is located in Service Office, Zaventem. The role includes travelling to the stores and Fulfillment Unit/s
