Aikido Security in Gent, Belgium, seeks a Junior Legal Counsel (Commercial, Data & Compliance) to join our legal team alongside the General Counsel. You’ll handle contracts, data protection, compliance, IP, and occasional M&A work, helping scale a fast‑growing SaaS company.

Fluency in Dutch and English is required; French is a plus. You’ll review and negotiate with international counterparties, advise sales and product teams, and explore legal tech to move fast while protecting real customer

Qualifications

• Master of Laws and 1–4 years' experience in tech or a law firm (commercial/IT law).
• Strong knowledge of contract law & GDPR.
• Experience negotiating with international counterparties.
• Fluent in Dutch & English; French is a plus but not required.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked on IP, M&A, or LL.M. in the US or another international specialization.

We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel (Commercial, Data & Compliance) to team up with our General Counsel and keep Aikido’s legal engine running. We’re talking about contracts, IP, data, compliance, and the occasional M&A. This is a hands‑on role for someone sharp, curious, and eager to dive into the fast lane of a growing SaaS scale‑up.
