Sia is expanding its Data team in Brussels, seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to grow the team and shape the future of AI capabilities across global client projects. You will drive production ML/AI developments, mentor data scientists, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver real-world business impact.

Qualifications

• MSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, AI or Embedded Systems.
• 2–4 years building production ML/DL pipelines and models.
• Strong ML fundamentals; domain knowledge in CV/DL/NLP.
• Excellent Python; plus Scala/C++/Java.
• Experience with SQL/ PostgreSQL.
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps tools.
• Unix CLI and Git; big data tech (Spark/Hadoop/Databricks).
• Interest in data/AI and ability to mentor others; travel often; fluent English, French, Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Lead an internal team to develop AI products.
• Work in multidisciplinary client projects as an expert.
• Make architectural/design decisions for cloud environments.
• Build production ML/AI solutions with solid software engineering.
• Guide Data Scientists to scale models to production.
• Provide trainings, run internal meetings and external events.
• Participate in client meetings/workshops and knowledge-sharing.
• Write blogs, present at conferences, and lead subject matter communications.
