Socomec, an independent industrial group specialising in power solutions, is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Belgium. You will lead a team of four field technicians, oversee commissioning, maintenance and on-site troubleshooting, and act as the primary technical contact for customers, reporting to the Service Manager BeLux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant after-sales experience in UPS or power solutions.
• Proven leadership of a technical team and field personnel.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead the team across the northern region of Belgium, organising workload and alignment.
• Act as a technical field expert capable of assisting the team.
• Oversee the commissioning of products on major projects, ensuring schedules and safety compliance.
• Plan preventive maintenance of products and timely replacement of parts.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on installed products with on-site diagnostics.
• Write and share detailed customer intervention reports in line with Socomec standards.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and maintain relationships.
• Collect and relay customer needs and feedback to internal teams (Service Sales, product management).
• Ensure and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company security policies.
