Expleo is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to lead the functional design and evolution of information systems. You will analyze requirements, translate them into detailed designs, and collaborate with development teams through all phases—from analysis to production—while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Role requires 5+ years in functional analysis, strong Agile experience, and expertise with SQL databases (DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and tools (Jira, Confluence).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proven experience in functional analysis and functional design of information systems.
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, challenge and clarify business and customer requirements.
• Define concepts and manage the planning of preliminary analysis and design phases.
• Perform functional analysis of information systems and translate business needs into detailed functional designs.
• Develop functional specifications and requirements to support specific customer needs.
• Work closely with development teams throughout the development, testing and production phases.
• Support changes, enhancements and new functionalities from development through production.
• Recommend and implement system enhancements and improvements.
• Analyze service requests and assess their feasibility, required technological changes, resources and project timelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are practical and aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain functional documentation and ensure that requirements and system changes are properly documented.
