Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Data Modeller & Architect to Brussels on a freelance basis. The role focuses on establishing a common data model, governance framework and modelling standards across diverse datasets. Initial priority is conceptual data modelling using existing elements and building new ones where required.

The freelancer will define the model, standards and approach that the permanent team will adopt, while coaching stakeholders and aligning reporting needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as Data Modeller/Data Architect focused on conceptual and logical modelling.
• Proven ability to define modelling standards, governance and roadmaps.
• Experience moving from conceptual to logical and physical modelling.

Responsabilités

• Assess and develop the existing conceptual data model and integrate new modelling where needed.
• Translate processes and reporting needs into a common data model.
• Define entities, relationships, attributes and business definitions.
• Identify cross-business data structures and document variations.
• Establish data modelling standards and governance processes.
• Roadmap progression from conceptual to logical and physical modelling.
• Define database and data architecture requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate the model.
• Coach the internal team in data modelling and governance.
