ITProposal in Brussels seeks a Linked Open Data Specialist / Data Architect to transform open geographical data into a Linked Open Data ecosystem. The hybrid, part-time role focuses on interoperability, semantic modelling and governance for international data exchange.
You will develop a target semantic model, assess ontologies, and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define use cases and a roadmap for RDF/OWL/SKOS implementations.

We are looking for a Linked Open Data (LOD) Specialist / Data Architect to support a strategic and technical initiative focused on transforming open geographical data into a Linked Open Data ecosystem.
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work model: Hybrid
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until January 2027
Commitment: Part-time (2/5)
Daily Rate: €650–€900/day
You will conduct a strategic and technical study to prepare the transformation of existing open-data assets into Linked Open Data, with a strong focus on interoperability, semantic modelling, reuse and integration with international data ecosystems.
Key responsibilities include:
Dutch: Active knowledge
French: Active knowledge
English: Passive knowledge
We are looking for a specialist who can combine data architecture, semantic modelling and Linked Open Data expertise with strong stakeholder and workshop facilitation skills.
The successful candidate should be able to translate complex datasets and business requirements into a practical semantic architecture and a clear roadmap towards a sustainable Linked Open Data implementation.
