All Colors of Communication is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager for its largest IT and tech clients. The role requires you to understand communication in all forms, quickly focus on the heart of issues, and guide both client teams and our internal teams.
You will own major accounts, translate business objectives into strategic projects, and coordinate strategy, copy, design, digital, marketing and development teams. English is essential; Dutch excellent; French a plus.
We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager for some of our largest IT and tech clients. Someone who understands communication in all its forms, quickly gets to the heart of the matter and knows how to bring people along — both on the client side and within our own team.
This isn’t a role where you simply pass on briefs and follow up on projects. You think along, ask questions, give direction and speak up when something could be better.
A campaign that isn’t sharp enough? A brand identity that’s losing consistency? Copy that’s technically correct but says very little? A brief where the real challenge is hidden somewhere between the lines? You spot it. And you do something about it.
Our biggest clients are also our most complex. They operate across different countries and regions, with multiple teams, products, platforms and stakeholders. Often in an international, technology-driven environment.
As Key Account Manager, you keep the overview and protect the bigger picture.
You know your client, understand their business and know what’s going on. You translate strategic objectives into strong communication and bring the right people around the table: strategy, copy, design, digital, marketing, development…
You don’t need to be the best specialist in every discipline. But you do need to recognise great work — and be critical enough to ask for better when needed.
Let’s be clear: at least 5 years of relevant experience really is the minimum for this role.
You have enough experience under your belt to independently take responsibility for major accounts. You’ve managed complex communication projects involving different stakeholders and disciplines, and you know that things don’t always go neatly according to brief or plan.
Above all, you’re a people person. You build trust easily with clients and you’re just as strong internally. You listen, know when to challenge and recognise when your main job is to bring the right people together.
More specifically:
And perhaps most importantly: you know how to switch gears. Between strategy and execution. Between management and project teams. Between being critical and giving people confidence. Between taking something on yourself and knowing when someone else can do it better.
A lot of responsibility, but also a lot of trust. You get the freedom to help shape your clients, put your own ideas on the table and make decisions. This isn’t account management from the sidelines: you have an impact on the work we create and the relationships we build.
You’ll join a team with very different areas of expertise and solid knowledge of their craft. Strategists, copywriters, designers, PR professionals, digital experts, developers… You don’t need to do everything yourself. You’ll have plenty of expertise around you to create stronger work together. We share knowledge, challenge each other and step in for one another when needed.
There’s plenty of variety too. In clients, sectors, projects and challenges. In this role, you get a lot of autonomy and work closely with clients where communication, business and technology come together.
We also want you to keep growing. Through training and external expertise, but just as much by sharing knowledge and learning from each other. New technology, AI, changing communication channels: standing still isn’t really part of the plan.
Communication is a people business. That’s why we’re looking for someone who enjoys being around colleagues and values spending time together at the office. We work from Kobbegem and Zele and we’re flexible when working from home makes more sense — but we’re not a remote-first agency.
At the same time, we care about a healthy work‑life balance and flexibility when life calls for it. Doing great work and enjoying your job can absolutely go together.
And because that connection with the team matters to us, you’ll meet your future colleagues during the recruitment process. After all, they should be just as keen to work with you as our clients are.
Ready to take responsibility for clients that matter? We’d like to meet you.
