Manuchar is seeking an ambitious junior Trader to develop our Polymers business across West Africa. Based at our Antwerp headquarters, you will manage a portfolio of customers in the region with a focus on building long-term partnerships and expanding business.

In this international role you will travel regularly to West Africa and collaborate with customers, suppliers and colleagues worldwide to identify opportunities and close deals, while ensuring excellent service and smooth execution of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with first commercial experience in international logistics or commercial environment.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is an asset.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to spot opportunities and turn them into sustainable business.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented and willing to take ownership.
• Willingness to travel frequently and collaborate across regions.

• Develop and manage a profitable customer portfolio across West Africa.
• Build, maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Grow existing business by increasing volumes, introducing new products, and identifying opportunities within your portfolio.
• Stay informed about market developments, competitors and new players to identify growth opportunities.
• Negotiate and manage international sales and purchase transactions from A to Z.
• Define the commercial strategy for your region and product portfolio.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and smooth execution of transactions.
• Take a hands-on approach to solving operational challenges.
• Travel regularly to West Africa and occasionally worldwide.

Manuchar is looking for an ambitious juniorTrader to further develop our Polymers business in West Africa. Based at our headquarters in Antwerp, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers across the region. Your focus will be on building long-term partnerships, expanding existing business, and identifying new commercial opportunities within your market.

Working in a truly international environment, you will collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and colleagues worldwide. You will travel regularly to West Africa and occasionally to other regions. Your responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable customer portfolio across West Africa.

What do you need to be successful in your mission?

• Min. Bachelor's degree with a first commercial experience in an international logistics or commercial environment.
• A genuine passion for international business and building long-term customer relationships.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English. Dutch is an asset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot commercial opportunities and turn them into sustainable business.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership.
• Strong intercultural communication skills and willingness to travel frequently.
• Based in Belgium, preferably in the Antwerp region.
