Expertise France seeks a Junior Programme Support Officer in Brussels to contribute to the EU‑funded IYBA‑SEED programme. You will work under the Programme Director and Deputy Programme Director within the PMU, collaborating with country teams and headquarters to implement multi‑country activities.

The role offers hands‑on experience in coordinating and implementing international cooperation projects, with emphasis on administration, reporting and stakeholder liaison.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, development economics, political science, international cooperation, project management or another relevant field.
• Previous experience, including internships, in a similar position, preferably in private sector development, entrepreneurship, international cooperation or EU‑funded development projects.
• Full professional proficiency in both English and French is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and liaise between Expertise France and partners, country teams, donors and external experts.
• Support coordination of communication and visibility activities for the programme.
• Assist with procurement, contract management and evaluation procedures.
• Organise and manage information through proper archiving and information sharing.
• Draft notes, reports and meeting minutes; support narrative report preparation and editing.
• Assist in organising programme events, expert missions, study visits and steering committees.
• Provide support to country teams in project management and activity design.
• Contribute to development and follow-up of the programme action plan and work schedule.
