Job summary

European DIGITAL SME Alliance in Brussels is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support EU-funded projects across digital sustainability and policy areas. You will work at the intersection of project implementation and European digital policy, gaining hands-on experience across multiple initiatives and stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field
• 1–2 years of experience in EU-funded projects, project management, sustainability and digital policies
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Interest in digital transformation, European policy and SME competitiveness
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Strong digital literacy including MS Office and WordPress; Canva experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and day-to-day management of several EU-funded projects throughout their lifecycle
• Coordinate project activities, track timelines and deliverables
• Contribute to policy briefings, consultation responses and background research
• Build and maintain relationships with project partners, SMEs, policymakers and stakeholders
• Prepare and review project deliverables, reports, meeting documentation
• Contribute to communication and dissemination activities (website content, newsletters, social media)
• Monitor EU policy developments, funding opportunities, and stakeholder initiatives
• Organise and support meetings, workshops, webinars, and events
• Liaise with partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration
• Represent DIGITAL SME at conferences, workshops and networking events
