Our client, a leading organization in the banking sector, is looking for a Junior Business Project Manager to support ESG‑related initiatives within a commercial banking environment.

The role focuses on coordinating ESG activities across business teams, supporting Relationship Managers, ensuring proper follow‑up of ESG assignments, and helping translate sustainability topics into practical business actions.

As a Business Project Manager, you will support the Sales Management team in the coordination of ESG initiatives across different business segments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating ESG‑related activities across commercial teams
• Supporting Relationship Managers in integrating ESG topics into client conversations
• Acting as a central point of contact between front‑office teams and internal ESG expertise
• Following up on ESG assignments and ensuring clear visibility on progress
• Supporting reporting, documentation and operational follow‑up
• Helping simplify ESG processes and embed them into daily business activities
• Contributing to a pragmatic and business‑oriented ESG approach

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, business management or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience, ideally in banking or financial services
• Motivated recent graduates with a strong economic background may also be considered
• Strong interest in ESG, sustainability and sustainable finance
• Good commercial awareness and ability to support business teams
• Strong organisational, coordination and reporting skills
• Good command of MS Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, Word and PDF
• Clear communication skills and ability to simplify complex ESG topics
• Proactive, structured, autonomous and collaborative mindset

Languages

• Dutch: native level
• French: very good level
• English: good level

Salary conforms to experience.
