Televic Rail is seeking a motivated Junior IT Specialist to join our IT and Analytics team in Izegem. You will be the first point of contact for internal users, handling support tickets related to access management, cloud services, networking, and Linux-based systems, gaining hands-on experience with modern IT technologies.

We welcome a recent graduate or final-year student with a solid networking foundation, Azure Entra ID familiarity, Linux skills, and a service-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or final-year student in related field.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure (Entra ID / Azure AD).
• Good working knowledge of Linux operating systems (CLI, permissions, troubleshooting).
• Understanding of IT support processes and ticketing systems.
• Strong team player with a service-oriented mindset.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests.
• Excellent communication skills: able to explain tech topics to non-technical users.

Responsabilités

• Handle and resolve user support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage user access and identities in cloud environments (Azure Entra ID, role assignments).
• Support networking requests including VLAN configuration, VPN access, connectivity troubleshooting.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based devices and servers (permissions, services, scripting).
• Assist with day-to-day IT operations and infrastructure maintenance.
• Document solutions, procedures, and configurations in the internal knowledge base.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and escalate complex issues when needed.
