Job summary

Sia is a next-generation, global management consulting group. The Forward Deployed Engineer role focuses on turning GenAI concepts into production, building agents, RAG pipelines, and copilots, and guiding client adoption in daily workflows.

You’ll work at the intersection of Data Science, ML/Platform Engineering, and client delivery, benchmarking models, iterating prototypes, and validating ideas with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs, and cloud tools to deliver ROI.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, AI, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in relevant roles or academic projects.
• Built with LLMs via coursework, thesis, internships, or personal projects.
• Proficient in Python and able to call APIs for integration.
• Comfortable explaining technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Familiar with vector databases and embeddings concepts.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic SDK, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on client sites learning their workflows and AI opportunities.
• Scope and build LLM-based solutions: RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, automation.
• Connect solutions to APIs, databases, and business tools using standard patterns.
• Apply GDPR and EU AI Act considerations to projects under guidance.
• Support user adoption with docs and training, gather feedback.
• Measure performance and suggest improvements to senior colleagues.
• Share progress with both technical and business audiences in writing and talk.
