Sia Partners is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy GenAI solutions for client environments in Belgium. You will work across data science, ML/platform engineering, and client delivery to translate business needs into practical AI workflows.

With 0–2 years of experience and a Master’s in a relevant field, you will build with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs, deploying to AWS/Azure/GCP and collaborating with experienced teams. Hybrid Brussels/Antwerp office.

Formación

• Master’s degree in computer science, AI, or related technical field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• You’ve built with LLMs through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
• Proficient in Python and able to call and connect APIs.
• Ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Experience deploying a project to a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices and vector databases.
• Understanding embeddings and related vector databases.

Responsabilidades

• Spend time on client sites with a senior Forward Deployed Engineer to learn their workflows.
• Scope and build LLM-based solutions: RAG pipelines, tool-using agents, automation, chat interfaces.
• Connect solutions to existing systems (APIs, databases, business tools) using patterns.
• Apply GDPR, EU AI Act, and model licences guidance to work.
• Support user adoption: documentation, training sessions, collect feedback.
• Measure performance and suggest improvements to senior colleagues.
• Share progress in clear updates to technical and business audiences.
